What exactly is Telehealth?

Think telehealth is a new fad?

You may be surprised to learn that some form or another has existed as long as medicine itself.

Anytime a patient receives treatment from afar, they are receiving telehealth. In our modern world, the use of digital technology has brought distance health care, including mental health care, into the forefront.

Whether a patient lives remotely, has no transportation, or simply appreciates the convenience of not traveling to and from an office, teletherapy provides needed flexibility to our changing lives.
